Sandra K. (Lee) Marcus

Sandra K. Marcus, age 75, of Willmar, died Saturday, December 23, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 28, at the First Christian Reformed Church in Prinsburg. Interment will be in Holland Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, at the First Christian Reformed Church in Prinsburg and will continue for one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Arrangements are with the Tri-County Funeral Home in Prinsburg. www.tricountyfuneral.com Sandra Kaye (Lee) Marcus was born on July 17, 1942 in Sacred Heart, Minnesota, to Wilbur and Blanche (White) Johnson Lee. She was confirmed at the Maynard Lutheran church and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1960. On June 16, 1960, she was united in marriage to John T. Marcus of Prinsburg at the Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart. They made their home on different farms in the Raymond/Prinsburg area. She enjoyed helping on the farm. Sandra worked as a nurse’s aide and also as a cashier. She enjoyed fishing with John and traveling to Montana. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and making afghans for each of her grandchildren. She is survived by her six children: Cindy (David) Warne of Raymond, Lyle (Jean) Marcus of Osage, Kathy (Alan) Olson of New London, Darla (Brad) Ryks of Prinsburg, Lee (Kathy) Marcus of Treasure Island, FL, and Owen (Dani) Marcus of Marshall; eighteen grandchildren: Jerome (Allison) Warne of Prinsburg, Amy (Dane) Ellingson of Crookston, Craig (Robyn) Warne of Clara City, Zachary (Tiara) Marcus of Hayti, SD, Allison (Bryan) Rothmeier of Dover, Jacob Marcus of Osage, Lacey (Craig) Barker of Niangua, MO, Isaac (Brenda) Olson of New London, Shae Olson of Brookings, SD, Madison Brown (fiance Skyler Garman) of Paynesville, Michael Brown of Prinsburg, Kayli and Ben Ryks of Prinsburg, Dalton Marcus of Salt Lake City, UT, Cody Marcus of Pensacola, FL; and Van, Quinn and Zander Marcus of Marshall; nine great grandchildren: Jordan, Kaysia and Lily Warne, Mackenzie Olson and Ava Ellingson, Benjamin Warne, Haley Barker, Levi and Ezekiel Marcus and three sisters-in-law: Rose Anne Lee of Willmar, Joan Marcus of Raymond and Grace Marcus of Raymond. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in January of 2007; one granddaughter, Kristine Warne; her parents and one brother, John Lee in 2014.
