Paul H. Van Der Veen Nov. 9, 1937—Sept. 10, 2015   Paul Van Der Veen, age 77, of Clara City, died Thursday, September 10, at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. A private family service will be held with interment at Holland Township Cemetery in Prinsburg.  Public visitation will be 3:00- 4:30 p.m. Sunday, September 13, at Tri-County Funeral Home in Prinsburg. Paul Harold Van Der Veen was born November 9, 1937, in Prinsburg, Minnesota, to John and Clara (Hoogeveen) Van Der Veen.  He most recently lived in a group home near Clara City.  He worked at Sparks Industries in Clara City until June 2015 when his health began to decline. He is survived by three sisters, Judy (and John) Roskamp of Prinsburg, Karen (and Bill) Leenstra of Willmar, and Ruth (and Roger) Brouwer of Prinsburg; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roger; and a sister, Mary. The family would like to extend a thank you for the love and concern of Paul's social workers and those who cared for Paul over the years at his home and work site.
