Paul Grannes

Dec. 29, 1977 - May 15, 2015           Paul M. Grannes, age 37, of Minot, North Dakota, died from natural causes at his home in Minot on May 15.     Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 29, at the Unity Christian Reformed Church in Prinsburg.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.     Paul Michael Grannes was born on December 29, 1977, in Glencoe, Minnesota, the son of Michael and Kaye (Miller) Grannes.  He grew up in Glencoe, Pine City and Olivia where he attended BOLD High School.  He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.  Paul was employed his entire life as a pipe layer in the water and sewer construction business with various construction companies.  Most recently he was employed with Park Construction, working in Minot, North Dakota.  Paul was a member of the Laborer Union Local #563.  His hobbies included snowmobiling, riding ATV’s, his pet dogs and enjoying outdoor activities during the winter months.      He is survived by his parents, Kaye (and Kenneth) Jorgensen of Grasston, MN. And Michael Grannes of Missoula, MT; one brother, Eric (and Mindy) Grannes of Prinsburg; four nieces, Samantha, Brianna, Etta and Giada and his step-grandfather, Art Olson of St. Paul, besides other relatives and friends.     He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
