Lillian Roelofs Aug. 21, 1912—Nov. 8, 2014 Lillian Roelofs, age 102, of Raymond, died Saturday morning, November 8, at the Clara City Care Center. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, at the Christian Reformed Church in Raymond with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Raymond. Funeral arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home in Prinsburg (www.tricountyfuneral.com). Lillian was born August 21, 1912, in Holland Township, Kandiyohi County, Minnesota, the daughter of William and Anna (Mensink) Hebrink. She attended the District 85 School in Hollmand Township. On December 19, 1930, she married Howard Roelofs at the Christian Reformed parsonage in Prinsburg. To this union, two sons and three daughters were born and the family lived in the Prinsburg and Raymond areas. Lillian resided at the Clara City Care Center since June 2010. Lillian was a member of the Christian Reformed Church in Raymond, where she was active with the ladies aid. She was also active with the Raymond Senior Citizens Group. She enjoyed baking, quilting, playing cards, fishing, and entertaining family and friends. She is survived by her children, Kenneth (and Mavis) Roelofs of Plymouth, Verna Janssen of Clara City, Lorna Kruger of Clara City, and Sherwin (and Marilyn) Roelofs of Raymond; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 40 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; a daughter, Charlotte Teichert; three sons-in-law, Clarence Teichert, Harold Kruger, and Darrel Janssen; five sisters, Bessie Slagter, MabelBerghuis, Jeanie Strootman, Hilda Kamstra, and Ruth Ryks; and seven brothers, Herbert, John, Elmer, Wilber, Edward, Antony, and David Hebrink.
