Lauren Adela Espinoza, 1 1/2 years, of Raymond, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 2, at the Children's Hospital in Minneapolis following a courageous fight against Leukemia.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 12 noon on Saturday, April 8, at the Bunde Christian Reformed Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are with the Tri-County Funeral Home of Prinsburg. www.tricountyfuneral.com
Lauren was born on September 16, 2021, in Marshall, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Taylor (Meyer) Espinoza. She grew up with her family in the Raymond community and was dedicated as a Child of God on her 1st birthday. In April of 2022, Lauren was diagnosed with Leukemia and has been in and out of the Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis since.
Lauren loved listening to music, dancing, chasing the cats around the house and reading her books. She was always happy with a huge smile on her face. Lauren was the sunshine of her families lives and all those who knew her.
She is survived by her parents; one brother, John Michael; her maternal grandmother, Justine Meyer-Hillers; maternal grandfather, Dave Hillers; paternal grandfather, Arnoldo Espinoza and maternal great grandmothers, Sue Perez and Rose Meyer.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Michael Meyer, paternal grandmother, Adela Espinoza; maternal great grandfather, Ray Meyer and paternal great grandparents, Juan and Anita Rodriquez.
