Helen Ruth (DeVries) Post

 Helen Ruth Post, 94, of Willmar, passed away early Monday, Sept 13, at Bethesda Grand Memory Care in Willmar. 

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Thursday Sept 16, at the First Christian Reformed Church in Prinsburg. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept 17, at 10 am at the First Christian Reformed Church. Helen Ruth Post was born December 11, 1926, in Willmar, Minnesota to Wietsa and Pearl (Webb) DeVries. She grew up in Roseland and graduated from Willmar High School.  On May 28, 1948 she was married to Harry C Post. They made the family farm near Prinsburg their home until 1999 when they moved to Willmar.

She is survived by her sons, Harvey (and Sheila) Post and Doug (and Denise) Post; two daughters, Sharon (and Dave) Botker and Betty (and Tom) Holt; eight grand-children and six great-grand-children, besides other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Peggy in 1973; her husband, Harry in 2005, and all her siblings. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
