Clara M. Mulder May 10, 1925—Nov. 4, 2014                       Clara M. Mulder, age 89, of  Clara City, died Tuesday evening Nov. 4, at the Clara City Care Center.                 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, at the Assembly of God Church in Willmar.  Interment will be at the Holland Township Cemetery in Prinsburg.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Arrangements are with the Tri-County Funeral Home of Prinsburg.  www.tricountyfuneral.com   Clara Mae Mulder was born on May 10, 1925, in Roseland, Minnesota, the daughter of Clarence and Angie (Hoekstra) Brower.  She grew up and received her education in the Roseland community.  On January 13, 1942, Clara was married to John Dick Mulder and they made their home in Roseland.  In the early 1950’s they moved to Prinsburg and in 1982 moved to Willmar.  Clara worked at home as a homemaker taking care of her family.  She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Willmar.  Clara and John enjoyed traveling across the United States in their RV.  Clara cherished time spent with her family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.   She is survived by her five children, Jerry Mulder of Ft. Meyers, FL., Ronald (and Mary) Mulder of Jackson, Diann (and Robert) Dirksen of Clara City, Cal (and Deb) Mulder of Willmar and Doug (and Penny Mae) Mulder of Willmar; fifteen grandchildren, Cameron (and Jessica) Mulder, Shawna Schmitt (and fiancé, Todd), Courtney Johnson (and friend, Pat), Heather (and Joel) Peterson, Jeremy (and Ali) Dirksen, Stasha (and Rob) Mittra, Joshua (and Alison) Mulder, Justin (and Kara) Dirksen, Robbie (and Rachelle) Dirksen, Lindsey (and Jed) Nelson, Dustin Mulder (and friend, Katie), Rachelle Mulder, Austin Ivy, Adam Ivy and Brittni Ivy and twenty-nine great grandchildren.  Also surviving are two sisters, Caroline (and Wallace) Duininck of Willmar and Joyce Twedt of Delano, besides other relatives and friends.   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John in 2012; one granddaughter, Vanessa Olson; one grandson-in-law, Mike Schmitt; two sisters, Alice Patti and Theda Campbell and two brothers, Richard and John Brower.
