, age 94, of Willmar and formerly of the rural Raymond community, passed away Thursday evening, Oct. 17, at Vista Prairie at Copperleaf in Willmar. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Bunde Christian Reformed Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arline Helen Asche was born on January 12, 1925, on the family farm near Prinsburg, the daughter of Harry and Mabel (Hebrink) Berghuis. She grew up and received her education in rural Prinsburg. On July 8, 1941, at her parents home, Arline was united in marriage to John Asche and they lived and farmed SW of Raymond. Arline was a long time member of Bunde Christian Reformed Church and was active with ladies aide. She was a volunteer at Rice Memorial Hospital and the Willmar area widowed persons group. Her hobbies included gardening and decorating. She had a fond love of flowers and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She is survived by her children, Larry (and Sandra) Asche of Bloomington, Dalen (and Sharon) Asche of Bloomington and Todd (and Lori) Asche of Spicer; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Roger (and Arlyne) Berghuis of Willmar, Dallas (and Sharon) Berghuis of Clara City and Gordon Berghuis of Cosmos; two sisters, Sylvia (and Doward) Visser of Willmar and Edith Ahrenholz of Willmar; and one sister-in-law, Arvilla Berghuis of Litchfield, besides other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John in 1979; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Gary Zylstra; one brother, Donald Berghuis; a sister-in-law, Borgie Berghuis and a brother-in-law, Harold Ahrenholz.
