Alice A. Huisenga Oct. 17, 1915—Oct. 13, 2018 Alice Huisenga, age 102, of Raymond, died Saturday evening, October 13, at Bethesda Grand Nursing Home in Willmar. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 18, at the United Methodist Church in Raymond. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Raymond. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to the Bethesda Foundation. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home in Prinsburg, MN. Alice Amanda Huisenga was born October 17, 1915 in Raymond, Minnesota, the daughter of Theodore and Adelaid (Ennenga) Haats. She grew up and received her education in the Raymond community. In 1936, she married Eilt Huisenga and they made their home in Raymond. Alice worked at Farm market for 25 years and at Nelsen Laundry for 13 years, before retiring in 1972. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the United Methodist Church in Raymond, where she was active with Ladies Aide. Alice enjoyed baking, word puzzles, crocheting, flower gardening, and watching games shows, especially the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune. Alice is survived by a son: Ronald Huisenga of Raymond, MN; a daughter-in-law: Diane (and Ken) DeBoer of Pine Island, MN; a sister: Adeline Klemenhagen of Willmar, MN; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Eilt Huisenga in October 2004; a son: Elroy Huisenga; six brothers: John, Edward, Albert, Dick, Alvin and Ted; and two sisters: Tillie Freese and Katie Hoppe.
